John Harlan Henry, 80, went to be with his Lord on January 27, 2017. He was born in Sinking Springs, PA to the late Ferne Bard and Clarence A. Henry. He is also predeceased by his sister, Anne Andrews. John worked as a self employed contractor that could fix anything and do it right the first time. He also enjoyed woodworking.

John is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Katherine "Kitty" Henry; daughters and sons in law, Karen Phillips (Billy) of Tarboro, NC and Kay Phillips (Stephen) of Cookeville, TN; grandchildren, Esther, Sarah, John and Jack Phillips; sisters, Joan Plumb and Sara Cranston; brother, Thomas Henry; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

John's service will be Monday, January 30, 2017 at 2:00 PM in Colosse Baptist Church with Revs. Tim Webb and Wayne Blythe officiating. Burial will follow in the church's cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donate to the American Heart Association or American Lung Association. The family shall receive guests at the residence for fellowship.
