John Dustin Greene, 63, of Suffolk, VA passed away May 16, 2016. He was born in Brockton, MA to Phyllis Ann Greene and the late Warren Irving Greene. He is also predeceased by his brothers, Eric Greene, Chuck Greene, and Kenny Greene. John was a U.S. Navy veteran having served during the Vietnam War and in the Gulf War. He served as president of the Liberty Spring Ruritan Club.

In addition to his mother, John is survived by his wife of 29 years, Linda King Greene; sons, Mark Schneier and wife, Erly, James Schneier King, and Michael J.R. Schneier and wife, Cheryl; five grandchildren; sister, Barbara LaPerle; brother, Phillip Greene and wife, Kathy; numerous nieces and nephews; and pets, Otis and Axel. The Family would like to thank Penny and Heather of Sentara Hospice for their loving care.

A celebration of life service will be held Friday, May 20, 2016 at 1 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home and Crematory, 3515 Robs Dr. Suffolk, VA 23434.
