John Thomas Eric Phillips of Windsor, Virginia passed away on February 22, 2025, at the age of 58.

Born in Rota, Spain in 1966, He proudly became a U.S. Citizen and served in the United States Air Force, where he developed a strong sense of discipline and camaraderie that would define his life. After his military service, John embarked on a career as a truck driver, traveling the open roads and forging connections across the country.

John is survived by his parents, Michael and Maria Phillips; loving wife, Mary Lynn Phillips; children, Lois Ortiz, Angela McGinnis, Katie Phillips, Christina Maloney, and Jon Hutchison; seven grandchildren; and siblings, Samantha Phillips-Bessen and Michael Phillips.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home in Suffolk, Virginia with Rev. Tim Rawls officiating. Condolences can be registered at www.parrfuneralhome.com .
