Jody Lynne King, 46, of Suffolk, Virginia, passed away on Wednesday, September 1, 2021. Born on March 29, 1975 Jody was the daughter of George Kenneth King and the late Patricia DeBenedictis King. In addition to her father, Jody is survived by her daughter Abigail LeighAnn Whitehurst, son Charles William Whitehurst, brother T.C. King (Christie), Uncle Tim DeBenedictis, Aunts Lou Ellen Bass (Brian), Lynn Jones, Laura Jackson, Denise Walker, Gloria McGovern, Great Aunt and Uncle Jerolene and Robert Crusenberry, Cousins Kathleen Erickson, Patrick McGovern, and Michelle Lara, dear friends Anna and Nelson Calimlim, Jennifer Robertson, Shawn Hale and numerous more friends and family that she dearly loved.
