Joan Mary Harrington, 84, passed away May 5, 2016. She was born in Mahanoy City, PA to the late Charles S. and Bertha Keiser Ames. Joan was predeceased by her beloved husband, Emmett Harrington, her loving son, Robert Harrington and her adored pet, Nia (Tic Tic). She was a member of St. Therese's Catholic Church.

Joan is survived by her children, David Harrington and Leslie Kirkwood; grandchildren, Brandy Bond, Michael Edwards, Jr., Brent Harrington, Jessica Edwards, Corey Harrington; great grandchildren, Daniel Bricker, Jr., Michael Edwards III, Kaylee Bricker, Jacob Bond, Wyate Bond, and Logan Harrington.

A graveside service will be held Thursday, May 12th at 2:00 p.m. at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 3920 Airline Blvd, Chesapeake, VA, 23321 with Pastor Fred Lane officiating. Condolences may be registered at www.parrfuneralhome.com.
