Jimmy Leon Morse, 64 of Ivor, VA passed away on July 26, 2008. A native of Radford, VA he was the son of the late Daniel and Stella Morse. He retired after 30 years of service with the U. S. Postal Service as the Postmaster in Charlottesville, VA and was a Veteran of the United States Army.

He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Laura H. Morse of Ivor; two daughters, Terrie M. Clark of Norfolk, VA and Elizabeth A. Addison of Portsmouth, VA; two sons, William T. Morse of Suffolk and Michael D. Baroody of Pensacola, FL; and five grandchildren: Sean, Patrick, Trevor, Ryan and Amanda.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 29, 2008 at Parr Funeral Home and Crematory, 3515 Robs Drive, Suffolk, at 4:30 p.m., with the Rev. Mark S. Hambrick officiating.
