Jimmy Robert Harrington Sr, 88, passed away on Saturday, February 26, 2022. He was born in Hertford, NC to the late Lillie Belle Williams and Wade Jack Harrington. He is also predeceased by his wife, Patty Ayers Harrington, and brother, Wilton Delandery Harrington Sr. He served in the US Army and later went on to work as a nuclear inspector for Norfolk Naval Shipyard. He was a devoted husband and loving father.

Jimmy is survived by his daughter, LeAnne H. Legg; son, Jimmy "Rob" Harrington Jr. (Teresa); grandchildren, Aaron, Matthew, Noah, and Logan; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Jimmy's funeral service will be 2:00 pm, Thursday, March 3, 2022 at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory with Pastor Tony Peaks officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service and burial will follow at Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens.
