Jimmy Wayne Gayle, 72, passed away on March 9, 2021. He was born in Southampton Co, VA to the late Kenneth Elizabeth Smith and James Elwood Gayle Jr. He worked as a safety manager for the United States Navy as a civil servant. He was a member of Oakland Christian Church.

Wayne is survived by his loving wife, Lisa Babb Gayle; sons, Michael Wayne Gayle and James Corlett Gayle; stepchildren, Tabatha Kortney Boone and Dustin Christopher Boone (Jenna); granddaughter, Emma Boone; sisters, Connie White, Barbara Turner (Ronnie) and Diane Bowman (Louis); brother, Bryan Gayle (Barbara); lifelong friend, Gary Butler; and beloved dog, Belle.

Wayne's celebration of life will be 6:00 pm, Friday, March 12, 2021 at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Suffolk Humane Society.
