Jesse Thomas Jurnigan, Jr., 92, passed away June 4, 2019.  He was born in Severn, MD the son of the late Jesse Thomas Jurnigan, Sr. and Cecilia Friedel Jurnigan.  He was predeceased by his wife, Carrie Copeland Jurnigan and daughter, Linda L. Jurnigan.  Jesse was a United States Army veteran having served during WWII.  He later went on to work and retired from Union Camp.  He was a member of Open Door Church.

Jesse is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, Michael Stanley Jurnigan (Donna), Steve Thomas Jurnigan (Jan); grandchildren and their spouses, Kevin Jurnigan (Susan), Karen Latimer, Tracey Fox, Stephanie Ritter (Jason), and Steve Jurnigan II; great grandchildren, Bridget, Brianna, Alex, Megan, Lela, and Elliot.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, June 8, 2019 at 11 a.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory with Rev. Tony Peaks officiating.  Burial with military honors will follow at Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens.  Friends may join the family for a time of visitation Friday night from 7-8 p.m. at the funeral home.  Condolences may be registered online at www.parrfuneralhome.com .
