Jesse Clyde "Boots" Leggett's Obituary
Jesse Clyde "Boots" Leggett, 82, passed away on March 11, 2022. He was born in Nansemond Co, VA to the late Bessie Mae Ward and Kelly Troy Leggett. He is also predeceased by his wife, Dolores Blowe Leggett. He served in the US Army and later went on to be a security supervisor for Virginia Power. He was a member of the Bethlehem Ruritan Club.
Boots is survived by his children, Dawn White, Christopher Leggett, and Kathy Leggett; grandchildren, Grey Pope, Cord Pope (Angie), Mitchell Leggett, Travis Claytor (Morgan), and Kyle, Kaitlyn, and Heather Claytor; great grandchildren, Walker, Willow, Wren, Jaxon, Izzy, Finley, and Ila; brother, Bobby Leggett; niece, Kimberly Leggett; and nephew, Randy Leggett.
Boots' graveside service will be 2:00 pm, Sunday, April 10, 2022 at Holly Lawn Cemetery.
