Jerry Thomas Tharpe, 56, of Windsor, VA passed away September 2, 2014. He was the son of Harvey Thomas Tharpe and the late Mary Barber Tharpe of Charlotte Court House, VA. He worked in concrete construction for B & V Contracting.

Including his father, he is survived by his wife of 30 years, Rose Hicks Tharpe; daughter and son-in-law, Brooke Tharpe Brock and Charles Brock; son, T. Chance Tharpe; sisters, Lois Jordan and Hope Wilmer (David); brother, Keith Tharpe; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

A graveside service will be held Friday, September 5, 2014 at 2 p.m. at Evergreen Cemetery in Charlotte Court House, VA with Pastor John Hunter officiating.
