Jerome Willard Jiles, 59, of Corapeake, NC passed away January 30, 2009. He was born in Carrollton, GA the son of Fannie Mae Adams Jiles and the late Tyre William Jiles, Sr. He was predeceased by his son, Jerome "Jerry" W. Jiles, Jr. and sisters, Judy Ann Reeves, and Gail Malone. Jerome served and retired after 22 years as a Dental Lab Technician for the United States Navy. He later went on to retire as a Dental Technician for Virginia Correctional Enterprise. He earned his B.S.A. and was a Certified Flight Instructor. He was a member of Suffolk Christian Church.

Jerome is survived by his wife of 29 ½ years, Nola Mae "Sam" Jiles of Corapeake, NC; mother, Fannie Mae Adams Jiles of Carrolton, GA; daughter, Emily Anne Jiles of Tallahassee, FL; sister, Joyce M. Wagner of Lithia Springs, GA; brothers, Tyre W. Jiles, Jr. of Winston, GA, and Jimmy Lee Jiles of Ranburne, AL.

A celebration of life service will be held Tuesday, February 3, 2009 at 4 p.m. at Suffolk Christian Church with Rev. Michael D. Halley officiating. Military honors will be rendered during service. Friends may join the family following the service for further time of fellowship in the church fellowship hall.
