Jennifer Dawn Whitley, 46, passed away May 17, 2023 after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by loved ones who will continue to honor her legacy by living their lives to the fullest . She was born in Suffolk, VA the daughter of James and Karen Whitley. Jennifer completed her Bachelor's degree at Virginia Tech. After working in property management for 17 years, she continued her education and became a Functional Diagnostic Nutrition Practitioner. Jennifer's passion was sharing functional health knowledge and helping others on their health journey over the years. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Suffolk, VA.

She had an uncanny ability to find happiness in her daily activities and her personality was contagious to everyone she met. In addition to her parents, Jennifer will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Caitlyn Osterholz; sister and brother-in-law, Melissa and Scott Evans; niece, Kaylee Evans; nephew, Jayce Evans; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. A spe cial thanks is extended to the church, friends and family including the Mizelles, the Sadlers, Lisa Chavis, and Leeann Hinton for their unwavering love and support.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday, May 23, 2023 at 11 a.m. at Holly Lawn Cemetery with Rev. Thurman Hayes, Jr. and Pastor Becky Rudash officiating.
