Obituary

Jennifer Ann Gustin, 60, of Suffolk, VA went to be with the Lord on June 9th, 2026.

She is preceded in death by her late husband, John K. Gustin; mother, Elisabeth K. Plumeau; sisters, Diane and Linda; and brother, Junior.

She leaves behind her beloved family of 4 children: her headstrong oldest, Christopher Gustin and wife, Anna, and grandson, Adam; her beloved second, Matthew Gustin; her babygirl, Samantha LeGrand and husband, Nathan, and grandchildren, Elizabeth, Riley, Wyatt, and Charleigh; and her last, but cherished baby, Ryan Gustin.

She also leaves behind her extra children, James and Nikki. Her kids' best friends that became her own; and her siblings, Karen and David.

A lover of animals, and thrift queen, Mom loved the beach and spending time with her animals. She loved nature, peace, and anything that could bring tranquility to her life and spirit. She enjoyed the Victorian era and anything related to the spiritual realm.

We truly believe she was an empath at heart and was too good for this world. She loved so many throughout her life, and would do anything for anyone. She had a servant's heart and was a proud caregiver for Home Instead. She loved her clients and made some cherished bonds with loved ones' families throughout her career. We were so proud to see her again thrive.

Mom loved a good reuben sandwich, and made a killer double smash burger. She loved to bake for her family: cookies, cream puffs, cakes, etc. She showed so much love through food. She loved candles and to watch a full moon sparkle throughout the night.

We will miss her more than words can say. She was given mercy from the Lord, and we will find solace and peace in her passing as a family.
