Jeffery Steven "Steve" Edwards, 61, passed away on July 7, 2022. He was born on August 25, 1960 in Royal Oak, Michigan, to Hansel and Loretta May Edwards. He was a master electrician for the Norfolk Southern Railroad and a member of Bethlehem Christian Church.

Besides his parents, Steve is survived by his wife, Sandra Gail Edwards; daughter, Traci Leigh Evans (Brandon Matthew); sons, Justin Steven Edwards (Ryan) and Alex J. Edwards; grandchildren, Archer Caspian Evans and Isla Bardot Evans; step-daughters, Whitney G. Griffin and Abby G. Moore (Justin); step-sons, Jeremy K. Griffin and Andrew T. Griffin (Lindsay); step-grandchildren, Mackenzie, Memphis, Jakob, Ava, Adilyn, and Willow; sister, Sherry Lynn Roark (Ralph); brother, Rick Allen Edwards (Tammy); and numerous nieces and nephews.

Steve's funeral service will be 7:00 pm, Tuesday, July 12, 2022 at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory with Pastor Rob Slingluff officiating and visitation following the service. Services will also be held with Grundy Funeral Home.  Visitation will be held at Vansant Baptist Church in Vansant, VA on Thursday, July 14, 2022 at 6 p.m.  with service at 7 p.m.  The funeral will also be held at Vansant Baptist Church on Friday, July 15, 2022 at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at A.J. Edwards Cemetery, Skylin Dr., Birchleaf, VA. Memorial donations may be made to Duke Hospital or to the Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters.
