Jeannette (J.C.) Louise Henish Creekmore, 75, born April 9 th , 1945 in Cananadaigua, New York, daughter of Edison Louis Henish and Hilda Kathleen Winter Henish, passed Dec. 4 th , 2020.
J.C. created and operated "The Shed" primitive antique shop in Chuckatuck. She was a devoted wife, homemaker, mother, a friend for life to anyone lucky enough to share her simple blue jean lifestyle. She radiated charm and beauty. She had the gift of gab, a decorator's eye, an extensive knowledge of vast topics, a green thumb and had a love for her plants. JC loved motor home traveling, exploring off the beaten path, rock collecting, and scuba diving world wide with "Norfolk International Divers", enjoying good friends company, taking underwater pictures, framing, matting her underwater art pictures. JC also enjoyed riding motorcycles with LEO, Blue Knights VA-5, Chesapeake VA. She was a member of the Chesapeake Bay Arts Association, the Women's Auxiliary of the Chuckatuck Vol. Fire Dept. Fish Fries, the Khedive Shrine Autos, fundraisers for Shriners Children's Hospital. She enjoyed playing cards with her many friends, special home style meals, cookouts pool side enjoying grand and great-grands and many friends, caring for her predeceased dog, Bruno. She was an "I am what I am'' special kind of person. Her favorite songs were "She and I", "Amazing Grace" and "What Doesn't Kill you Makes you Stronger" became her theme song since she was a survivor, mentor to women fighting breast cancer and had devoted unconditional love for her husband Willy , Bruno, family and friends.

Jeannette is survived by her husband of 60 years, William "Willy" David Creekmore, Sr.; daughter and son-in-law, Tammy Lynn Patton (Danny); son and daughter-in-law, William "Bill" David Creekmore, Jr. (Bernice); grandchildren, Sarah (Joey), Jacob, Brittany (Michael), Jessica (Jacob), and M olly (Andrew); great grandchildren, Sophia, Aubrielle, Brantley, and B rooklyn; sister, Kathleen Patterson.
A Memorial Service will be posted at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Shriners Children's Hospital and to Breast Cancer Research. Condolences may be registered online at www.parrfuneralhome.com .
