Jeannette Ann Hughes Houser, 82, passed away September 5, 2024.  She was born in Portsmouth, VA the daughter of the late Arthur Alexander Hughes and Gladys Edith Bristow Hughes.  She was predeceased by her husband, Benniville Wilson Houser; sister, Linda Mae Hughes Clifford; and brother, Arthur Alexander Hughes, Jr.

Jeannette is survived by her daughters, Teresa Croker, Jeannie Brinkley (David), and Vicki Hale; 5 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, September 11, 2024 at 11 a.m. at Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens with Chaplain Brandon Higson.  Friends may join the family for a time of visitation Tuesday from 5-7 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory.  Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.  Condolences may be registered online at www.parrfuneralhome.com.
