Jean Joel Thrasher, 60, passed away November 12, 2014. He was born in St. Louis, MO the son of the late Joel Jay Thrasher and Emma Jane Akers Thrasher. He was predeceased by his wife of 35 years, Sherry Marie Burke Thrasher. He worked as the Chief Operations Officer for Community Electric Cooperative. He was a member of the National Rifle Association.

Jean is survived by his daughter, Melissa Thrasher Dunkley and husband, Charles Edward Dunkley; son, Jason Andrew Thrasher; and brother, Jan Jay Thrasher.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, November 15, 2014 at 2 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory with Rev. Matt Winters officiating. Friends may join the family Friday night for a time of visitation from 7-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
