Jean Turner Joyner, 85, passed away March 9, 2014. She was born in Colosse, VA the daughter of the late Robert Lee Turner and Emma Rhodes Turner. She was predeceased by her husband, Ellis Lee Joyner; and sisters, Marjorie Brinkley and Grace Turner. She attended Franklin Presbyterian Church and was a past member of the Ladies Golf Association at Cypress Cove Country Club.

Jean is survived by her daughters, Joyce J. Gerald, Deloris J. Joyner, Debbie J. Flythe; son, Micheal L. Joyner; 5 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; brother, Robert "Bobby" Turner; and loving K-9 companion, Gyp.

A funeral service will be held Thursday, March 13, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory with Chaplain Carmen Scoggins officiating. Burial will follow at Southampton Memorial Park Cemetery in Franklin, VA.
