Jean Elizabeth Holland Harrup, 89, passed away on March 29, 2024. She was born in Holland, VA to the late Ola Mae Fowler and Richard Elliott Holland. She is also predeceased by her brother, Richard Aubrey Holland. She worked as a bookkeeper for Perry Minnow Farm. She enjoyed going to church when she was able and was a member of Holland Baptist Church and the Friendship Sunday School class. She loved spending time with family and talking about family history. She also loved going to the mountains with her family. Special interests included trying out new recipes and cooking for her family.

Jean is survived by her loving husband of 71 years, Samuel Kenneth Harrup; daughter, Nancy White (David); son, Kenneth Harrup (Gretchen); grandchildren, Rebecca Harrup, Jennifer White, Scott White (Heather), and Kelyn Harrup; great grandchildren, Kourtney, Taylor, Hartley, Skylar, and Sundee; four great great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Jean's funeral service will be 2:00 pm, Tuesday, April 9, 2024 at Holland Baptist Church with Pastor Matthew Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Holland Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8:00 pm, Monday, April 8, 2024 at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory.
