Jean Ann Olt Donovan, 85, passed away May 19, 2026. She was born in Lima, OH, to the late Richard Eugene Olt and Evelyn Grace Amstutz Olt. Jean was predeceased by her husband, Gene D. Donovan, and sister Linda Olt. She was a member of the Northern Neck Bee Club. Jean was an active member of her church and volunteered at the Northern Neck Food Bank. She attended Farnham Baptist Church. Jean was a devoted military wife who also ventured into the business world as a secretary and real estate agent. She was the co-owner of Professional Technology (Pro Tech), a computer operations company providing service to the Virginia Beach area.

Jean is survived by her son, Richard Donovan (Jill); daughters, Juliann Tripp (Stuart), and Barbara Espinosa; grandchildren, Alexander Wareham, Evan Wareham, Emma Grace Donovan Buennemeyer (Peyton), Samuel Donovan, Nicholas Donovan, Daniel Espinosa, and Andrew Espinosa (Lindsey); brother, Richard (Rick) Louis Olt; and niece, Alycia Hunt (Charles).

A service will be held at Saturday, May 23, 2026 at 3:30 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory, 3515 Robs Dr., Suffolk, VA 23434 with Larry Clayton officiating. A time of visitation will follow the service at the funeral home. Burial will be private at Albert G. Horton, Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery.
