Jean Bradshaw Baines, 75, of Suffolk, VA passed away November 27, 2008. She was born in Suffolk the daughter of the late Belle Dundalow and Walter Clarence Bradshaw. She was predeceased by her husband, Jasper "J.E." Ernest Baines, Jr. Jean worked for 36 years as a junior accountant from Frank Sheffer and Associates. She was a lifetime member of Suffolk Christian Church and was a member of the Suffolk Pilot Club for many years.

Jean is survived by her daughter, Nancy B. Copeland; son and daughter-in-law, Jay V. Baines, Sr. and Jeanie B. Baines all of Suffolk, VA; grandchildren, Kimberly Copeland Jones and her husband Michael of Virginia Beach, VA, Jay V. Baines, Jr. of Suffolk, VA; sister, Paige B. Poliseno of Brockton, MA; nieces and nephews, Karen Poliseno and Kim Poliseno Grant, Michael and Dean Poliseno; devoted lifelong friend Margaret Smith of Suffolk, VA.

A graveside service will be held Monday, December 1, 2008 at 2 p.m. at Newman Cemetery at Oakland Christian Church with Rev. Michael D. Halley officiating. Friends may join the family Sunday evening from 7-8:30 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory, 3515 Robs Dr., Suffolk, VA and other times at the residence.
