Jean Forrest Allison, 78, of Suffolk, Virginia passed away November 13, 2009. She was born in Poquoson, VA the daughter of the late Dorothy Riggins Forrest and Frank L. Forrest. She was predeceased by her husband, James C. Allison, Sr. and her son, James C. "Jim" Allison, Jr. Jean retired as the office manager of Suffolk Eye Physicians and Surgeons. She was a member of West End Baptist Church.

Jean is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Marion and Pastor Timothy Patterson of Lynchburg, VA, Denise and Charles Hearn of Suffolk, VA; grandchildren, Sarah Pruitt, Andrew and Benjamin Patterson; sister, Janice.

A graveside service will be held Sunday, November 15, 2009 at 3:30 p.m. at Bethlehem Christian Church Cemetery with Timothy Rawls and Pastor Timothy Patterson officiating. Friends may join the family Saturday afternoon from 4-5 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory, 3515 Robs Dr., Suffolk, VA and other times at the residence of Charles and Denise Hearn.
