Jason Christopher Hernandez, 33, of Chesapeake, VA passed away May 13, 2011. He was born in Chicago, IL the son of Carol Abromaitis Hernandez and the late Julio Frank Hernandez. He was a United States Navy veteran. He recently worked as an electrician.

Including his mother, Jason is survived by his wife, Michelle Martin Hernandez; daughter, Alicia Nicole Hernandez; sisters, Sandy and Tracy Hernandez; brothers, Terry and Frank Hernandez; maternal grandparents, Anne and Charles Abromaitis; and numerous nieces and nephews, one great nephew.

A funeral service with military honors will be held Friday, May 20, 2011 at 11 a.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory, 3515 Robs Dr., Suffolk, VA 23434 with Pastor Randy Green officiating. Burial will be in Albert G. Horton, Jr. Memorial Veteran Cemetery. Friends may join the family Thursday night for a time of visitation from 7-8 p.m. at the funeral home and other times at the residence of Michelle Hernandez.
