Janet Knight Piland, 80, passed away December 17, 2020.  She was born in Nansemond Co., VA to the late Thurman Wolfe and Hulda Ruby Kelly Knight.  Janet is predeceased by her husband of 57 years, Pallie Barrett Piland, Jr., and brother, Jack C. Knight.  She was a member of Westminster Reformed Presbyterian Church.

Janet is survived by her daughters and sons in law, Lori and Gerald White, Lisa and Don Sexton; son and daughter in law, Craig and Sheila Piland; grandchildren, Dr. Skylar White (Kimberly), Leslie Johnson (Mark), Kelsey White (Steven), Lance Sexton (Hope), Barrett Piland, and Reagan Piland; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held Monday, December 28, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Nansemond Suffolk Cemetery, 1421 Kings Fork Road, Suffolk, VA with Don Sexton officiating.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Toys for Tots at www.toysfortots.org.  Condolences may be registered online at www.parrfuneralhome.com.
