Janet Elaine Adams Chipman, 71, passed away December 25, 2025.  She was born in Suffolk, VA the daughter of the late James Raymond Adams and Mary Arthur Williams Adams.

Janet is survived by her husband of 54 years, Glenn David Chipman; children, Cecilia Green (Kenneth), David Chipman (Jane), and Daniel Chipman (Teresa); grandchildren, Kenneth Green Jr. (Ricki Lynn), Bethany Chipman, Patrick Chipman, and Ainsley Chipman; great grandchildren, Adalynn Green, Kendalynn Green, and Declan Green.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday, December 31, 2025 at 2 p.m. inside the chapel at Nansemond Suffolk Cemetery, 1421 Kings Fork Rd., Suffolk, VA 23434 with Rev. Michael D.
