Jane Newsome Ellis, 80, passed away May 7, 2018.  She was born in Franklin, VA the daughter of the late Thomas Eley Newsome and Ida Beatric West Newsome.  She was predeceased by her husband, William Rosco Ellis; step son, Robert Ellis, six sisters, and two brothers.  She was a member of Franklin Baptist Church.

Jane is survived by her sons, Ronald Cary Pierce (Hattie), Thomas Ray Pierce (Karen), and William Austin Ellis; step daughter, Jenne Priest (Dannis); numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren; sister, Peggy Irene Powers; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held Friday, May 11, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Holly Lawn Cemetery with Rev.
