James "Tommy" "Thames" Jackson Thomas, Jr., 88, passed away April 13, 2018.  He was born in Suffolk, VA the son of the late James Jackson Thomas and Bessie Matilda Harrell Thomas.  He was predeceased by his sisters, Mary Megginson, Juanita Thomas, Margaret Faye Babb; and brother, Howard Dempsey Thomas.  He retired as a Master Plumber and was a member of First Baptist Church.

Tommy is survived by his son, Allen Troy Thomas; companion of 30 years, Peggy C. Holly; sister, Joyce Ann Sandman; brother; Bobby Thomas; and former wife, Ann Burgandine.

A funeral service will be held Monday, April 16, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory with Rev. Charles W.
