James Theodore Runge, 48, of Suffolk, VA passed away on April 28, 2008. A native of Sanford, FL, he was the son of the late William Fitzgerald Runge and Kathryn Byrne Runge. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law Michael James Runge and Amy Runge; his fiancée Nora L. Pinegar; three sisters, Mary, Kathy and Muriel; three brothers, Ted, Charles; Uncle James H. Morris and Aunt Dorothy Runge.

He was a veteran of the U. S. Navy and a member of the U. S. Military Vets Motorcyle Club. James was a Radiological Control Technician (Nuke) at the Norfolk Naval Shipyard.

A Memorial Service, with Military Honors, will be held Thursday, May 1 at Parr Funeral Home and Crematory, 3515 Robs Drive, Suffolk, at 8:30 p.m. with Rev. Roger Johnson officiating.
