James "Jamie" Porter Daughtrey, III, 52, of Suffolk, VA passed away on October 31, 2012. A native of Norfolk, VA he was the son of the late James Porter " J. P." Daughtrey, Jr. and Betty Jean Holland Daughtrey. He was an Electrician Assistant with R. E. W. Electrical in Portsmouth, VA. Jamie was active in sports in his earlier years.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Christine Daughtrey; daughter, Sara Kathleen Finney; step daughters and step son-in-law: Crystal and Larry Howk and Darla Baird; step son and step daughter-in-law Sam and Chrissy Coffield; grandchildren, Jocelyn and Tristan; six step grandchildren and four step great grandchildren and his Uncles and Aunts: Ricky and Carol Holland, Guy and Martha Schultz and Virginia Ann Kues and Bob.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, November 2, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home and Crematory with Rev. Tim Rawls officiating. Burial will be private at Holland Cemetery.
