James "Jimmy" Neil Babb, 37, of Suffolk, VA passed away March 6, 2011. He was born in Suffolk, VA the son of John Rudolph Babb and the late Lakie Morris Babb. James was a U.S. Air Force veteran having served during Desert Storm. He retired from the transportation department at Western Tidewater Regional Jail and currently worked as a store manager for Best Way Rent to Own. He was a huge Giants football fan.

James is survived by his father; his wife, Amanda L. Babb; son, Gage Pierce; step daughter, Karen Rae Phippins; a sister; and a brother; numerous nieces, nephews, in laws, and numerous friends.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, March 10, 2011 at 2 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory, 3515 Robs Dr. Suffolk, VA 23434 with Rev. Roger Johnson officiating.
