James Walthers Kirby, 47, of Suffolk, Virginia, passed away on November 6, 2007. He retired from the United States Navy after having served in the Gulf War. More recently, he was a Plumbers Assistant with East Coast Plumbing Service. He was predeceased by his brother, Harold Kirby.

He is survived by his parents, Harold and Margaret Kirby of Franklin, NH; wife, Susan A. Kirby of Suffolk; sisters and brothers-in-law, Terri and John Montgomery and Noella and Robert Demers of Dedham, Mass. and Linda Duquette of Manchester, NH; and a brother Peter Kirby of NH.

Friends may join the family for a Funeral Service on Thursday at 6:00 p.m. with visitation to follow from 7 - 8 p.m., at Parr Funeral Home and Crematory, 3515 Robs Drive, Suffolk. Another Funeral Service will be held Monday, at 11:00 a.m. at H. L. Young and Company Memorial Home, 175 South Main Street, Franklin, New Hampshire, followed by burial, with military honors, at Blossom Hill Cemetery in Concord, New Hampshire. Friends may join the family for visitation on Sunday from 2 - 4 p.m. at H. L. Young and Company Memorial Home. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of choice.
