James J. Seminara, 62, of Suffolk, passed away on November 29, 2010. A native of Brooklyn, NY he was the son of the late Mauro and Julietta Seminara. He was a United States Navy veteran who served during the Vietnam era. He retired as a Lieutenant with the Westchester Police Department in NY after 20 years of service. Most recently he worked as a real estate agent at Century 21. Jim attended Holland Christian Church and was a member of the Holland Ruritan Club.

He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Susan Seminara of Suffolk and his daughter, Jessica Seminara of Harrisburg, PA.

A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 4, 2010 at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory, 3515 Robs Dr. Suffolk, VA, at 2:00 p.m. with Dr. Jay Slater officiating.
