James Dean Gentry, 56, passed away on December 10, 2025. He was born in Cookeville, Tennessee to the late Rita Sue Harville and Michael Anthony Gentry Sr. He is also predeceased by his former wife, Sherri Edwards. He worked as an auto mechanic for many years.

Jimmy is survived by his son, Nick Gentry; grandchildren, Lily, Jack, Victor, and Vincent; sister, Diane G. Askew; and brother, Michael Gentry.
