James Franklin Forsythe, 82, passed away December 13, 2017.  He was born in Fredericktown, MO the son of the late James Elmer Forsythe and Glenda Haas Forsythe.  He was predeceased by his wife, Raenel Gainer Forsythe and daughter, Donna Leigh Cocco; sister, Laura Forsythe; and brother, David Enoch Forsythe.  James was a United States Navy veteran having served during the Korean War.  He later went on to work and retire as a driver for TRT Transit.

James is survived by his sons, James Lyndal Forsythe (Nancy), David Mike Forsythe (Ashley); and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held Friday December 15, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Parr Funeral.  Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.  Condolences may be registered online at www.parrfuneralhome.com .  The family would like to give special thanks to Heartland Hospice, Maryview's Nursing Care Center and Dr. Abdel-Shaheed for the loving care they showed James.
