Jacquelyn Marsh Cobb, 82, passed away January 8, 2016 surrounded by the loving members of her family. She was born in Rocky Mount, NC the daughter of the late Jack and Dorothy Marsh. She was predeceased by her husband of 64 years, James Q. Cobb; and siblings, Doris Wescott, Bill Marsh, and Anne Lois Richards. She was a member of Church of Christ in Portsmouth, VA and attended Colosse Baptist Church in Windsor, VA.

Jacquelyn is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Sandra B. and Todd Rose, Deborah A. Cobb; son and daughter-in-law, James Michael Cobb and Cindy Lee Cobb; grandchildren and their spouses, Melissa B. Pierce (Alan), Jason Bailey, Joshua Kyle Cobb, Mason Lee Cobb, Kristina Canfield (Brandon), Kendall Irving (Seth); great grandchildren, Carson and Kayden Pierce, and Scarlett Canfield; sister, Evelyn Marsh Abrams; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friend and caregiver, Jennifer Pitts.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Colosse Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Tim Webb officiating. Friends may join the family for a visitation Tuesday night from 7-9 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory. Memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
