Jack Carroll Smith, 70 passed away on June 27, 2018.  He was born in Norfolk, VA the son of the late William L. and Geneva H. Smith. Jack was a United States Marine Corp Veteran having proudly served his country in Vietnam. He was also a strong supporter of institutions and charities that support our Veteran's and their families. Jack's love for his family and his Country was truly unwavering. He will be remembered for his canny sense of humor, his quick wit and his patriotism. Jack will be deeply missed by his family and friends. Recently, Jack said he strived to live by the following words: "May we have the Courage to stand up for our Convictions". Although simple, they have profound meaning and can greatly impact our lives. We will carry his memory and legacy in our hearts forever.
