Jack Ray Cornett Sr, 81, went to be with the Lord on February 24, 2025. He was born to the late Louise Helen Johnson and James Allen Cornett Sr. He is also predeceased by his son-in-law, Bubba Ferrell. Jack worked and retired as a supervisor for the Norfolk Naval Shipyard. He was a devoted member of Abundant Grace Baptist Church.

Jack is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Kim Hall Cornett; his children, Brenda Ferrell, Lisa Rountree (Ray), Jack R. Cornett Jr, Kevin Cornett, Amanda Burkhardt (Jerry), Kristy Cornette (Scott), Christopher Stephens (Jett), and Justin Cornett (Stephanie); numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; his sisters, Alice Bartlet (Arnold), and Dorothy Lewis (Ronald); his brothers, James A. Cornett Jr. (Jane), and Robert Cornett (Donna); and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Jack's memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, March 8, 2025, at Abundant Grace Baptist Church with Pastor Scott Cornette officiating. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Abundant Grace Baptist Church. Offer condolences on parrfuneralhome.com.
