Irvin Pierce Jenkins, Jr., 69, passed away May 4, 2025.  He was born in Suffolk, VA the son of the late Irvin P. Jenkins, Sr. and Sarah B. Jenkins.  Irvin retired as a nuclear mechanic for Surry Nuclear Power Station.  He was a member of Windsor Baptist Church where he served as a deacon.  He was the charter Captain of the Windsor Volunteer Rescue Squad.  Irvin brought joy to his community for 35 years through his Christmas lights and displays.

Irvin is survived by his wife of 48 years, Angela W. Jenkins; children and their spouses, Melissa and Brian Davis, Adam and Meagan Jenkins; grandchildren, Bryce, Aubrey, Braydon, and Avery; siblings and their spouses, Margaret and Ronald Worrell, William "Bill" and Linda Jenkins; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Linda and Raymond Maya; nephew, Chris and Kristan Jenkins and their children.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday, May 7, 2025 at 11 a.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory with Pastor Charlie Knight officiating.  Burial will follow at Colosse Baptist Church Cemetery.  A time of visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 10 - 11 a.m. at the funeral home.  Memorial donations may be made to Colosse Baptist Church for Perpetual Care of the Cemetery.  Condolences may be registered online at www.parrfuneralhome.com.
