Irene Cousin Stewart, 73, passed away October 2, 2024.  She was born in New York, NY the daughter of the late Eugene Joel Cousin and Katherine Rose Davin Cousin.  She was predeceased by her sister, Lisa Whitehurst.  Irene helped with the Friends of Suffolk Library.  She loved working in the garden, shopping for antiques, and rescuing pets.

Irene is survived by her husband, David S. Stewart; son, Joseph K. Eason, siblings, Eugene Cousin, Brian Cousin, and Patrick Cousin; and numerous nieces and nephews.
