Ina Carolyn Barnes Turner, 85, passed away February 14, 2022.  She was born in Conway, NC the daughter of the late Bennie Clarence Barnes and Nita Woodard Barnes.  She was predeceased by her granddaughter, Jodie Elizabeth Schenk; and brothers, Clarence, Bennie, and Jeffrey Barnes.  Ina was a member of First Baptist Church.  She loved to read, watch birds, and enjoyed watching game shows.

Ina is survived by her husband of 67 years, William Redell Turner, Sr.; daughter, Cheryl Goins (Mike); son, William R. Turner, Jr. (Debbie); grandchildren, Mandy Pearson (Ian), Matthew Schenk (Maline); great grandchildren, Grace, Emma, Gunner, Maddie, and Macie; sister, Rachel Bolton; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at 1 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory with Dr. Thurman Hayes, Jr. and Rev. Charles W. Thompson.  Entombment will follow at Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First Baptist Church Building Fund, 237 N.
