Ila Mae Boyd, 81, of Windsor, NC passed away on July 29, 2009.
She was born in Bladdenburgh, NC the daughter of the late Joseph Dudley Pate and Maggie Storm Pate. She was also predeceased by her husband, Dalton Ray Boyd, Sr., and her daughter, Patricia Faye Boyd. Ila was a member of Potter's House Christian Church, sunday school, and the W.M.U.
Ila is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law, Dalton Ray Boyd, Jr. and Debora D. Boyd of Windsor, NC, and Robert W. Boyd of Suffolk, VA; 6 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; sister, Tiller Ruth Harris of Gloucester, VA.
A funeral service will be held Monday, August 3, 2009 at 1 pm at Parr Funeral Home and Crematory, 3515 Robs Drive, Suffolk. Burial will be at Holly Lawn Cemetery. Friends may join the family Monday one hour prior to the service,12-1 p.m. for a time of visitation.
