Hulda Ruby Kelly Knight, age 87, a native of Nansemond
County, VA, died October 25, 2006. She was a homemaker and
a member of Oakland Christian Church where she was a former
member of the I. W. Johnson Bible Class. Hulda was also a
former member of Chuckatuck Volunteer Fire Department
Ladies Auxillary. She was the daughter of the late, Ruby
Moody Kelly and Jack Hulda Kelly and was also predeceased
by her brother, John H. Kelly.

She was survived by her husband of 67 Years, Thurman W. Knight; daughter and son-in-law, Janet K. and P. B. Piland; son, Jack C. Knight, Sr. all of Suffolk, VA; grandchildren and their spouses: Lori White (Gerald), Lisa Sexton (Don), Craig Piland (Susan), Chuck Knight (Brenda), Allison Mayo (Cory), and Angela Hannan (Kyle); greatgrandchildren, Skylar and Kelsey White, Leslie and Lance Sexton, Barrett and Reagan Piland, Margo and Kade Hannan,Jackie and Julia Knight, and Jack and Grace Mayo; sisters,
Faye K. Goddin, Dorothy K. "Sue" Parr, Betty Jean K. Odom; and brothers, Frank M. Kelly, Sr. and Clyde E. Kelly, Sr.and wife Virginia.

A Graveside Service will be held Friday, October 27, 2006, at 2:00 p.m. at Newman Memorial Cemetery at Oakland Christian Church with Rev. Mark Burns officiating.
Friends may join the family Thursday night from 7-8 p.m. at
the Parr Funeral Home and other times at the residence.
