Hugh Devere Smith Jr., 73, passed away January 19, 2025.  He was born in Norfolk, VA the son of the late Hugh Devere Smith, Sr. and Jetta Segle Smith.  Hugh retired after working over 20 years as the office manager at Gyro Systems Company.

Hugh is survived by his wife of 43 years, Catherine Ann James Smith; daughter and son-in-law, Laura S. Corcoran (Stephen); grandchildren, Landon Smith-Manning and Lottie Corcoran.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Sunday, January 26, 2025 at 2 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory with Rev.
