Hubert "Buck" Talmadge Byrum, Jr., 66, passed away September 15, 2021.  He was born in Edenton, NC the son of the late Hubert T. Byrum, Sr. and Nellie Pearl Sutphin Byrum.  He worked as an automotive mechanic.

Buck is survived by his wife of 46 years, Patricia "Pat" Norfleet Byrum; daughter, Dawn Byrum-Tinkham (David); son, H. T. "Buck" Byrum, III (Lauren); grandchildren, Savannah Byrum, Tyler Tinkham, and Haleigh Byrum; brother, Michael J. Byrum; niece, Patricia Dempsey (Drew).

A funeral service will be held Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at 11 a.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory with Pastor Kevin Payne officiating.  Burial will follow at Holly Lawn Cemetery.  Friends may join the family for a visitation Monday night from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.  Condolences may be registered online at www.parrfuneralhome.com.
