Hubert "Bud" Lowell Harper, 85, of Suffolk, Virginia passed away January 11, 2007. He was a native of Lawrenceburg, Indiana and a son of the late Inez and Gurth Harper. For many years he worked as the service manager at Suffolk International Truck & Equipment Sales, Inc. Bud was a U. S. Army veteran having served in the Battle of the Bulge during WWII. He was also predeceased by his son, Les Harper and sister, Fern Edmiston.
Bud is survived by his daughter, Sandy Harper of Suffolk, VA; sons, Kenneth Harper of Omaha, TX and Dennis Harper of Windsor, VA; 5 Grandchildren; 5 Great Grandchildren; and sisters, Doris Wise and Rowena Sidebottom.
Friends may join the family Wednesday, January 17, 2007 from 11 to 12 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home for a time of visitation. A graveside service will follow the visitation and be held at the Albert G.
