Howard "Ricky" Marvin Norris, Jr., 63, passed away October 27, 2015. He was born in Gastonia, NC to Howard Marvin Norris and the late Blandena "Dena" Futrell. He was predeceased by his daughter Rachel N. Wiggins and sister Gina DePriest. Ricky was a U.S. Army Veteran having served in the Vietnam War and was a Bronze Star Medal recipient.

Other than his father, Ricky is survived by his wife, Wanda P. Norris; daughter, Renee H. Byrd (Scotty); son, Richard E. Norris (Sharon); stepsons, Marshall and Marcus Giampocaro; 15 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; sisters, Teresia A. Thorne (Mike), Juanita L. Howard (Steve); brother, Thomas R. Bowman (Sharon), and numerous nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life service will be held Sunday, November 1, 2015 at 3:00 pm by his brother, Thomas Bowman at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory, 3515 Robs Drive, Suffolk, VA, 23434. Condolences may be registered at www.parrfuneralhome.com.
