Horace David Gardner's Obituary
Horace David Gardner, age 63, of Suffolk, VA, passed away on November 10, 2006.
He was a native of Nansemond County, VA. and retired from the Virginia Department of Transportation after 37 years as a Welding Supervisor. Horace was a member of Liberty Spring Christian Church. He was the son of the late James Joshua Gardner and Susie Babb Gardner and was also predeceased by a grandson, Matthew Cralle.
He was survived by his wife of 44 years, Mary B.Gardner; a Daughter and Son-In-Law: Priscilla G. and Eric L. Bunch; a Son and Daughter-In-Law, David and Sonya A. Gardner; grandchildren, Emma R. Gardner, Tyler Bunch and Jennifer Cralle, all of Suffolk, VA.; and a brother, Bruce Gardner of Corapeake, NC.
A Funeral Service will be held Monday, November 13, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at Liberty Spring Christian Church, with Rev. Allen Lancaster officiating. Burial will be in the Liberty Spring Christian Church Cemetery. Friends may join the family Sunday afternoon at Parr Funeral Home from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m.
Memorial donations may be made to the Liberty Spring Christian Church Memorial Fund, 4213 Whaleyville Boulevard, Suffolk, VA 23434 or Nansemond-Suffolk Rescue Squad, P. O. Box 1515, Suffolk, VA 23439-1515.
