Hilda Johnson Morris, 85, of Suffolk, VA passed away on July 2, 2011. A native of Isle of Wight Co., VA she was the daughter of the late James Hurley and Lula Belle Johnson. She was the widow of Benjamin Franklin Morris. Hilda retired from Thomas J. Lipton and was a member of Wilroy Baptist Church.

Hilda is survived by her four daughters and three sons-in-law: Laverne M. Eure, Ellen L. and Floyd Bennett all of Suffolk; Nancy M. and Herman Wiggins, Betty M. and Mark Brinkley all of Gates, N.C.; grandchildren Debbie, Paula, Cheryl, Benjamin; great grandchildren: Stephanie, R.J., Glennie, Paul; and great great grandson Cody.

A graveside service and entombment will be held on Wednesday, July 6, 2011 in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens and Mausoleum chapel at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Raymond Hampton officiating.
