Herbert Alan Reid, 73 passed away January 19, 2026.  He was born in Marion, SC the son of the late Herbert Mack Reid and Elva Shaw Reid.  He was predeceased by his brother, Ricky Lee Reid.  Alan retired after 18 years from Environment Services at Sentara Obici Hospital.  He was a member of Oxford United Methodist Church.

Alan is survived by his nephew, Wilbert Mack Reid; and cousin, Donnie and Louise Ogburn.
